Ensemble 21 and mezzo soprano Els Mondelaers perform (Paysages – études) I for violoncello and piano, (face à moi) I for piccolo solo and (…) for mezzo soprano and ensemble during Festival Loop4. December 3th at Espace Senghor Brussels.
I just added the score and the recording of (Paysages – études) V for flute, cello and piano. This short trio was written for Aton & Armide (Sara Picavet – pf, Benjamin Glorieux – vc, and Chrissy Dimitriou – fl) and was first performed during What’s Next 2011, where it was recorded.
(Incipit) for six voices (2011) will be premiered by Vocaallab during the Gaudeamus Muziekweek in Utrecht on september 10th. This short composition is the first part of Les aveugles, a chamber opera I’m writing in collaboration with Patrick Corillon, and which will be performed in March 2012, also then, the great Vocaallab will be singing.
Recently, I added the score and recording of my violin solo piece (…sans titre.) – (face à moi) II on this site. The recording was made during the first performance at the Concertgebouw Bruges, soloist was Wibert Aerts.
